CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1.This exhibition is conducted according the recommended practices of the Australian Photographic Society Incorporated.
2.Entries will be accepted only from residents of the COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA and its TERRITORIES, and also financial APS members residing overseas.
3.Images previously accepted in the Sutherland Shire National shall not be re-entered in the same or different format in any section.
4.Substantially similar images taken by the entrant (photographer) may not be entered in more than one section in any one year.
5.All images and any part of images must be entirely the work of the entrant. Where part of an image has been added to the main image this must have been photographed by the entrant e.g. If a sky is added, then this must have been taken by the entrant. You cannot add items such as clouds that are provided by a software program.

7.Submission of an entry form implies acceptance of all the Conditions of Entry and the decisions of the Exhibition Committee.

9.This Exhibition is conducted in accordance with the rules and recommendations of the Australian Photographic Society.
10.Accepted entries will count towards A.P.S. honours (LAPS & AAPS).
11.All images must be the original photographic work of the entrant. i.e. The entrant holds copyright.
12.Permission to reproduce entries for publication to promote the Exhibition and the use in an Audio visual of the exhibition will be assumed unless expressly denied.
13.The Committee reserves the right to reject any entry that, in the opinion of the Committee, does not meet the Conditions of Entry or is unsuitable for public display.
14.The best possible care will be taken but no responsibility will be accepted for damaged or loss of entries.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
15.By submitting images to this exhibition in digital form, I agree to accept without exception or objection the following terms:
15a.To ensure that images comply with the Conditions of Entry, including all relevant definitions, the exhibition organisers may ask me to provide originally captured images, with EXIF data intact, by a specified deadline.
15b.If I do not supply the requested image(s) in the specified time those images will be deemed to be in breach of the Conditions of Entry.
15c.Images that are submitted as requested may be investigated by any means determined appropriate by the exhibition organisers to establish if the image(s) comply with the conditions of entry.
15d.Images that are deemed by the exhibition organisers to breach the Conditions of Entry will be removed from the exhibition. Any acceptances or awards allocated to those images will become void.
15e.The exhibition organizers will provide APS with details of all breaches of the Conditions of Entry. APS retains the right to impose sanctions on entrants deemed to have repeatedly breached the Conditions of Entry of any APS Approved exhibition.
16.By entering the exhibition you give permission for the committee to send you details of future exhibitions via email. These emails will be minimal i.e. advising you of the Opening date, when the exhibition is Open for accepting entries, an extension to the closing date. Once you have entered an exhibition you will receive via email your results, links to the catalogues and any other details we think necessary to send you for that years exhibition.
Emails will be kept to a minimum.
17.Images depicting organised brutality and cruelty to animals are not endorsed by the committee despite the quality of the image and request this type of image not be submitted.
18.ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI): PICTURES CREATED BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THIS EXHIBITION.
It is reminded that all parts of the image have to be photographed by the author who is holding the copyright of all works submitted.
IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
1.Images to be in JPEG format and sized ready for viewing on screen or by projection shall be 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Maximum width is 1920 pixels
Maximum height is 1080 pixels
Maximum File Size 5Mb jpeg
2.An ICC Colour profile of sRGB should be used. Images will be judged and displayed using an sRGB device.
3.Maximum of 4 images per section.
4.File Names must be the Title of the image.
5.Total character length maximum: 36 characters

2 Sections: $7
3 Sections: $10
4 Sections: $13
Note: You must have paid your Entry Fee to be eligible to participate in the exhibition. Any unfinancial entry prior to judging will be removed.
ENTRANT DATA PRIVACY
All details provided when registering are kept in strict confidence and not sold or given to any organisation. We are required to provide the APS (Australian Photographic Society) entrants names, suburb, honours and list of images entered for their records.
IMAGE MANIPULATION
Computer altered/manipulated images will only be accepted in the Open Colour, Creative and Open Monochrome Sections and must include only the photographic work of the entrant.
Computer altered / manipulated images will not be accepted in Nature although minor retouching is acceptable.
CATALOGUE
A PDF Catalogue will show all accepted images and will be available to download from SSNEP website.
A copy of the Proshow presentation will be available to download. The format of the presentation will be MP4 (video format) so you can watch it on your pc, laptop or TV (if you video player can play MP4).
